Christmas Day 2026 is a Friday, and the gifts that land best for football people are the ones they'll use or wear the next weekend. We looked at what Soccer World customers actually bought in the five weeks before Christmas last year: jerseys came first by a long way, then balls and boots, and the single most-bought item in the store was printing letters, because people put a name on the shirt. This guide follows that, sorted by who you're buying for, with every product in stock as we write.
Free shipping on orders over $150 AUD, Australia-wide. Australia Post's last recommended Parcel Post date for Christmas is Monday 21 December from Queensland to most states, so order early in December to leave time for packing and printing. Full dates are further down.
For the fan: a 2026-27 jersey
Jerseys were last Christmas's most-bought gift at Soccer World. The new-season shirts are the ones they'll wear to watch the Boxing Day games.

- Tapedesign classic grip socks: $39.99 (were $45). Not sure they need grip socks? See our grip socks explainer.
Put a name on it
Printing letters were the most-bought item in our store last December. A name and number turns a jersey into a gift that's clearly theirs. Every print is heat-pressed by our team in Stafford, Brisbane, and includes up to 8 letters and 2 numbers:
- Official, $49: the licensed league font the players wear.
- Custom, $39: a premium font close to the official club font.
- Standard, $25: block vinyl lettering.
Add it when you buy a jersey, or order the print on its own and bring a jersey in. Details are on our name and number printing page. Printing adds time before your order ships, so ask us about current timing if you're ordering close to Christmas.
Not sure? A gift card
If you don't know their size, their club or their boot brand, a Soccer World gift card ($25 to $300) lets them choose. It's delivered by email, so it's also the answer if you've left it to the last minute.

Shop Christmas Gifts →Frequently Asked Questions
What's the best football gift if I don't know their size?
A ball, grip socks (one size fits most adults) or a gift card. Jerseys and boots need a size, so check one of their current shirts or boots for the label first.
When should I order football gifts for Christmas 2026?
Aim for early December. Australia Post's last recommended Parcel Post date from Queensland is Monday 21 December for most states and Tuesday 22 December within Queensland, and your order needs packing (and printing, if personalised) before it's sent.
Can I get a name and number printed on a jersey as a gift?
Yes. Choose Official ($49), Custom ($39) or Standard ($25) printing; each includes up to 8 letters and 2 numbers, printed in our Stafford store.
Is there free shipping on Christmas orders?
Yes, on every order over $150 AUD, delivered anywhere in Australia. Any of the adidas 2026-27 adult jerseys ($160) clears it on its own.
